Tribute to Gayari Martyrs, 7th April 2012

They weren’t just 139 men. They were 139 families. 139 promises. 139 brothers fighting harsh climates that would freeze lava to ice. Leaving birthdays and funerals, bearing hurt and being misunderstood. Together for one cause, regardless of language and ethnicity. Now, buried under cold white snow.
Snow, not as white as the blood, nor as cold as the hearts of the people they defended."
