PESHAWAR: Gunmen stormed an army-run school in a heavily-guarded area of Peshawar, killing 132 schoolchildren and 9 staffers, while injuring many more, said military spokesman.
Medics feared that the death toll may rise as many of the injured were serious.
Police official said the terrorists attacked central auditorium of the school where a function was underway.
The students are aging between 10 to 18 years.
DG ISPR Asim Bajwa said militant’s attack on school in Peshawar has killed 141 and left 121 injured.
Asim Bajwa said insurgents that has attacked school in Peshawar are neither Muslims nor Humans. He said such brutality has never witnessed before.
